Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour (Spooned and leveled)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¾ cup Brown Sugar (Packed)
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter (Softened)
  • 2 Large Eggs (Beaten)
  • 2 ⅓ cups Mashed Overripe Bananas (From about 3 medium bananas)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Whisk to ensure an even mixture.
  3. In a separate large bowl, beat brown sugar and softened butter with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  4. Stir in the beaten eggs and mashed bananas until well blended.
  5. Gently stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 60 minutes.
  8. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
