Ingredients
- 12 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese (Shredded. Preferably freshly grated, not powdered. Jarred shredded cheese can be used.)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Place 1 tablespoon of shredded Parmesan cheese in individual mounds on the baking sheet, spacing them 1-2 inches apart.
- Bake for 3-5 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is melted and crispy. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet. The crisps will firm up as they cool.
- Once cooled, gently peel the Parmesan crisps off the parchment paper or silicone mat.
- Serve immediately for the best crispness. Enjoy plain, or with your favorite low-carb dip.
- If made ahead, store in an airtight container at room temperature to maintain crispness for up to a day. Freezing or refrigerating is not recommended.
- Optional: Before baking, sprinkle with garlic powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, dill, rosemary, Italian seasoning, nutritional yeast, or ranch seasoning for added flavor.
