Ingredients

  • 12 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese (Shredded. Preferably freshly grated, not powdered. Jarred shredded cheese can be used.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  3. Place 1 tablespoon of shredded Parmesan cheese in individual mounds on the baking sheet, spacing them 1-2 inches apart.
  4. Bake for 3-5 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is melted and crispy. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet. The crisps will firm up as they cool.
  6. Once cooled, gently peel the Parmesan crisps off the parchment paper or silicone mat.
  7. Serve immediately for the best crispness. Enjoy plain, or with your favorite low-carb dip.
  8. If made ahead, store in an airtight container at room temperature to maintain crispness for up to a day. Freezing or refrigerating is not recommended.
  9. Optional: Before baking, sprinkle with garlic powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, dill, rosemary, Italian seasoning, nutritional yeast, or ranch seasoning for added flavor.
