Oven-Roasted Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Asparagus Spears (thin, trimmed)
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese (grated, optional)
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced, optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper (ground, or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  2. Place asparagus into a mixing bowl.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garlic, if using.
  5. Season to taste with sea salt and black pepper, if using.
  6. Arrange asparagus in a single layer in a baking dish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until just tender, about 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the spears.
  8. Sprinkle with lemon juice just before serving, if desired.
