Ingredients
- 2.5 lbs Chicken Wingettes (Approximately 12 wingettes, separated at joints, tips removed if desired)
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (Cut into small pats)
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour (For coating)
- 2 teaspoons Paprika (Regular or smoked)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- Optional tablespoon Fresh Parsley (Chopped, for garnish)
- To Taste Dipping Sauce (Ranch, blue cheese, buffalo, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Distribute pats of butter evenly across the foil-lined baking sheet.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each chicken wingette thoroughly with the flour mixture.
- Place coated wingettes on the baking sheet, ensuring they don't touch and are spaced roughly equally apart. Make sure each wing is near some of the butter pats.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Flip the wings over and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown. Ensure an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
