Ingredients

  • 2 oz Whiskey (George Dickel Superior No. 12 recommended)
  • 4 oz Ginger Beer (Hard ginger beer recommended for extra punch)
  • 2 Lime Wedges (For muddling)
  • 5-6 leaves Fresh Mint (For muddling)
  • As needed Ice Cubes (Large ice cubes preferred to avoid watering down the drink)

Instructions

  1. In a mule mug or sturdy glass, gently muddle the fresh mint leaves and lime wedges together. This releases the oils and flavors.
  2. Add the whiskey to the mug.
  3. Top with ginger beer.
  4. Fill the mug with large ice cubes.
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of fresh mint, if desired.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
