Ingredients
- 2 oz Whiskey (George Dickel Superior No. 12 recommended)
- 4 oz Ginger Beer (Hard ginger beer recommended for extra punch)
- 2 Lime Wedges (For muddling)
- 5-6 leaves Fresh Mint (For muddling)
- As needed Ice Cubes (Large ice cubes preferred to avoid watering down the drink)
Instructions
- In a mule mug or sturdy glass, gently muddle the fresh mint leaves and lime wedges together. This releases the oils and flavors.
- Add the whiskey to the mug.
- Top with ginger beer.
- Fill the mug with large ice cubes.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of fresh mint, if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
